Born on May 4th in Chicago, Illinois, Alias John Brown adopted his moniker from a light-hearted interaction with a friend, inspired by the historical figure John Brown the Abolitionist. As AJB immersed himself in the world of rap, his chosen alias became a defining element in his journey. Transitioning from the underground Hip-Hop scene in Chicago, Alias John Brown later relocated to the Bay Area in California.
